“超级月亮”也就是super moon,其实不是一个新词,也不是一个特别罕见的天文现象。而是每隔几十年就会出现一次的月亮距地特别近,因此特别明亮的现象。
2011年3月20日凌晨2时,月亮离地球220,625英里!
上一次月亮最靠近地球的时间是1992年1月19日,距离是250,000英里!
但由于今年超月出现之前刚好赶上日本的地震海啸,因此不少人就把超月跟自然灾害联系在了一起。对此,天文地质学家都认为纯属瞎联系。月亮距地太遥远,对地球的影响非常有限。最多不过是潮汐力,不可能引发地震等自然灾害。既然没有那么恐怖,我们就安心欣赏一下这几十年一见的自然美景吧。下面是一组每日邮报搜集的世界各地超月奇观:
